 Here are the first zinnias I picked- there were only 3 open but it looks like there'll be more on the way. You can see the zinnias when they were babies here.
I have some extra space in my garden now that all of my lettuce is done, and I was planning on using the space for zucchini or maybe some more herbs- but now I think I want to plant flowers- they make me so happy- besides, I could survive on tomatoes and basil all summer, who needs more veggies? :)


(actually my next project is figuring out a fire escape garden...)

thanks! I was checking out this article and I love the look of Globe Flower and Larkspur- got any other ideas? (I would probably want annuals since this is a community garden...)
